This is a new joint venture between Age Concern Colchester and Fordham All Saints School for older people in the area.
DATES
The dates for the Autumn 2010 meetings are
Wednesday 15 September
Arrive for coffee at 10.30 am. Then with the children ‘Harvest time – past and present’
Lunch at 12 noon
Depart after lunch
Wednesday 20 October
Arrive for coffee at 10.30 am. Then with the children further work on ‘Harvest time – past and present’
Lunch at 12 noon
Depart after lunch
Wednesday 17 November
Arrive for coffee at 10.30 am. Then with the children ‘Remembrance’
(May be a visit to the church and War Memorial)
Lunch at 12 noon
Depart after lunch
Tuesday 7 December
Arrive for lunch at 12 noon
Then with the children ‘Memories of Christmas’
Followed by the school’s Christmas Concert.
COST
The cost of the club will be £4.00 per session but will include your lunch and coffee on arrival.
TRANSPORT
The school has a good-sized car park if you wish to bring yourself and friends. A Hedingham Omnibuses Service 80 runs from Colchester Queen Street at 9.57 am to Fordham, returning from Fordham at 1.30 pm.
Alternatively, we may be able to organise minibus transport for those with severe mobility problems.
