Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage has original ceiling beams and part of the old screen wall separates the kitchen/dining area from the lounge.  The large kitchen/diner has a gas oven with four burner hob, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, iron and ironing board.  Also Crockery, glasses, cutlery and plenty of cooking utensils as well as bar-b-que utensils.  There is also a large table and four chairs in this area.

From the kitchen/diner you enter the lounge through the old beam screen wall.  Here there are easy chairs, a settee and a dining table with seating for four persons.  A video player with a selection of child and adult videos, books, magazines and games can be found in the sideboard and bookcase.  Files with information on the area are also to be found in the sideboard.

A large wood burning stove heats these rooms on colder days - many visitors have told us how much they have enjoyed the experience of sitting in front of this stove on an early spring or autumn evening.

Upstairs there are two good sized twin bedded rooms and a bathroom with window looking over the private patio area to the orchard beyond.  Each bedroom has an electric thermostat radiator.  The bathroom has a toilet, bath/shower, washbasin and heated towel rail.  There is also a second W.C. downstairs.

The cottage enjoys a private patio area which is surrounded by mature shrubs and trees.  Here there is a table with umbrella, chairs and a bar-b-que for outdoors dining.

Electricity, gas and logs are included in the charges as is bed-linen, towels and tea towels.  We do however ask that you bring your own towels for use at the pool or beach.

The Beds will be made up prior to your arrival.

Two cots, a highchair and stairgate for the top of the stairs are also available.
